EuroCast 2087 - Polyurethane Resin

2 component system.

Available as: 1.6Kg, or 8.0Kg Kit.

EuroCast 2087 reacts with Part B to form a tough, highly abrasion resistant, very rigid polyurethane.

Applications EuroCast 2087 has been formulated for use in moulding applications where a very rigid product is required with good stiffness and abrasion resistance characteristics. In addition, with suitable postcure, EuroCast 2087 is capable of withstanding brief periods of exposure to temperatures around 150°C.

Mix Ratios By Weight:  3.00 Parts A to 1.00 Part B

By Volume:  2.15 Parts A to 1.00 Part B

The components should be measured to an accuracy of 2% or better. Care should be taking when measuring by volume as this is an inherently inaccurate method unless specific volumetric measuring equipment is used.

Colour:

Part A: Pale grey (unless pigmented)

Part B: Pale Straw

Mixed: Grey liquid (unless pigmented)

Specific Gravity:

Part A: 1.46

Part B: 1.22

Mixed: 1.35-1.40

Viscosity:

Part A (Sp.6 10RPM 20°C): 45,000 mPas

Part B (Sp.3 20RPM 20°C): 120 mPas

Mixed (Sp.3 20RPM 20°C): 3,700 mPas

Gel Time (100g 20°C): 30-50 Minutes

Demould Time (100g 20°C): 4 Hours Full Cure (100g 80°C): 24 Hours Hardness at full cure: 80-90 Shore D

For best results use with RTV440.
